A clean surrounding leads to the healthy life of every individual. It’s the responsibility of every citizen to keep their surroundings clean and tidy. Unclean surroundings affect our health by spreading unhealthy diseases. As said by many,”Precaution is better than cure”, it’s better to maintain a healthy environment than suffering later. India’s Prime Minister has also started an amazing moment named Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to create awareness regarding cleanliness.

On account of this moment, LEADer Sanjaygouda Patil and teamfrom Vijaypur came up with an excellent idea. They visited a local bus at Vijaypur and were unhappy to see the worst condition of the bus stand. People don’t keep any public area clean. So, to get a change in the area, they thought to paint the walls of the bus stand and with that also create awareness of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. On taking permission from the authorities of the central bus stand, LEADers started their project. They cleaned the whole bus stand for a few initial days and then, they started painting the walls which included some quotes related to cleanliness awareness.

Well…when it comes to convincing people to adopt good habits, it’s always hard. But LEADers managed to make their project work well and successfully. They were appreciated a lot by the central bus stand authorities as well as the people who work in the bus stand. This initiative has no exact number of beneficiaries because it not only helps the people working there, but also helps those thousands of people traveling from that bus stand.

Along with the happiness of appreciation, LEADers also could gain the leanings of communication skills and leadership skills. Cleanliness in public areas is of great importance. LEADers have done excellent work by taking up this beautiful project and providing a clean environment to every person visiting the bus stand.
