LEADers adopting school to build a society
“Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it.”
Education is the most important thing and the basic right of every child. But many schools are lacking behind in studies as well as social communication skills. Shruthi and Kruthi are from Nizamabad. They always wanted to improve their skills and to work for the society. They joined LEAD after hearing to an orientation program in their college by Sangeetha mam. LEAD inspired them to take up any challenge. As education is anyone’s first priority they thought to work in the education sector
So, LEADers Kasarla Shruthi and Kasarla Kruthi from Nishitha Degree College, Nizamabad initiated their project called ‘School Adoption’ in Modern High School, Khaleelwadi. Their motto was to improve the skills of children in major aspects. Initially convincing the school management and mingling with students was a bit difficult but then conducting events like medical camp, cleaning the library, reopening computers…was another challenge. But they were successful in overcoming all the challenges as they came across. Managing a school is not a small task for them, during the time by the practical experience they got to learn communication skills, event management skills.
At first school management and others didn’t believe that they were going to work for a school without expecting any charge. But after seeing their dedication and determination they started supporting them in each and every step. Their project has brought a drastic change in school management. Now the school is developed and the problems were completely resolved. Their School Adoption project also received huge appreciation from many delegates.
Their future plans are to do more effective and socio-friendly projects to make the human world a better place and we wish them all the best for their future goals, thank you.
