LEAD Valedictory 2019 – Nizamabad
LEAD Valedictory, an event of celebrating the achievements, LEAD impacts, projects success, promotions and many more. There were lots of preparations and planning prior the event. According to the planning, the event was started with the great enthusiasm and excitement. The rally by the LEADers from LEAD and DET was conducted with a theme “Vote for the nation” . This rally was conducted by LEADers from District court of Nizamabad to New Ambedkar Bhavan. The event was followed by the project showcase, where LEADers got a chance to exhibit their projects before the delegates and other students. LEADer Srivalli, Gauthami Degree College performed a classical dance to welcome the guest. The guests were invited on the dais for the inauguration of the program by watering the plants along with devotional song.
Let’s have a small recap into the year 2018-19:-
LEAD had started in the year 2013 in Nizamabad. Since 2013, LEAD achieved many things and reached the targets of impact and success. Also, it created many no. of LEADers and created awareness on the situations. As of 2018-19, LEADers of Nizamabad have done 225 projects which impacted the people directly 74298 members and indirectly 80000 and more. It has created nearly 748 students and changed them into the real LEADers.
After the impact report sharing, the first panel of the day was kicked off with a theme “Bridging a gap between Institutions and Industries”. The panel was moderated by Mr. Rajeev Dua (Vice-president in Sukhjit starch mills) and the panelists were Mr. Bharath Reddy (Managing director at hotel kapila), Mr. Ravish Bhimani (Head of finance and compliance), Mr. Jayanth Reddy (Faculty in Nishitha Degree College), Mr. M K. Srinivas (Faculty in Gauthami Degree College) along with the LEADers Suman and Kruthi. After a very informative panel session LEADers Nithyasri, Anish and Naveen raj from Nishitha Degree College entertained the audience by a spectacular dance performance.
In the LEAD Valedictory LEADers get a chance to share their experiences and journey. This experience sharing is known as LEAD Talk. In LEAD Valedictory 2019 LEADer Kavyasree from Gauthami Degree College shared her transnational journey by telling her experiences at LLP and LEAD Prayana. LEADer Surya a student of Sandeepani Degree College spoke about the challenges he has faced from day one till then. He shared his learnings. Through the talk, LEADer Shruthi, Nishitha Degree College told how LEAD is a great and the right platform in students’ life. And LEADer Geetha, Girraj Degree College shared her LEAD journey. All these LEADers spoke about their experiences and how they molded themselves after joining LEAD. From their talk they conveyed the importance of LEAD in a student’s life. The event was followed another performance by LEADers Geetha, Kyathi and Prasad from Girraj Degree College.
Subsequently, another panel with the theme ‘Women Empowerment’ was conducted under the moderation of Mr. Rtn.Rajkumar Subedar, Advocate and President of Rotary Club, Nizamabad. The panelists were Mrs. Kiranmahi, Secretary, Senior civil Judge of District legal service authority, Nizamabad, Dr. Savita Rani, Secretary of IMA, Dr. Triveni, Head and Asst. Professor at Telangana University, G. Srinivas , English Faculty at Nishitha Degree College and Ms. Kota rani, Executive at Ford company.
After the most amazing panel session on “Women Empowerment”, the most awaited moment for the LEADer had come! It was the time to recognize the LEADers for their efforts and hard work.

Along with appreciating LEADers, LEAD appreciate the college which provides the best support to the LEADers to bring the changes in the society. “Nishitha Degree College” was awarded as the “Best Supporting College” for the year 2018-19.

It’s time to close the event which was a great stage to appreciate them who does the real work. The team conveyed their vote of thanks to the delegates as well as the students who have attended the event. The event was terminated by singing our National anthem and everyone gave their standing ovation.
