LEAD Prayana 2018 | Karnataka | Day-2
The leadership journey headed to Hubli to Deshpande Foundation’s Skill gurukul, India’s largest skill development center on day 2 of Prayana. They say Yoga is the artwork of awareness on the canvas of body, mind, and soul. therefore it is definitely the best way to start the day. Prayana had a peaceful yoga session which was taken making the spiritual atmosphere rule.
Soon the prayanees had an interaction with Mr.Sanjeev Kapoor, Indian celebrity chef, entrepreneur writer and television personality.while he shared his story of being a successful and eminent chef, he said he decided to be a chef despite no support from family. He marks it to be a smart move as the number of people in that profession were less while the opportunity was was great. Following your passion along with little support and guidance can take an individual to places.
The Session was followed by a group photo and the crowd headed to Deshpande Foundation’s Skill gurukul campus tour. The prayanees came across the huge architecture of the campus by the fellow students.
Prayanees also had a session and interacted with Hubbali skill gurukul center head Mr. Rajabali. It is known that hearing to the experienced imparts wisdom. The fellowship students shared their experiences with the prayanees in DET campus.
Later the prayana proceeded to Hospet in order to visit the Kirloskar ferrous ltd. Here a session was conducted by management director by Mr. Ravindra Gumaste who addressed about individual contribution to bring about positive change, he also spoke about the importance of the need for understanding amongst team members. Also how self-confidence and belief in oneself help everyone to build a better personality. Further, the prayanees had the campus tour on the bus and the Kirloskar team explain about industry and helped resolve the queries of prayanees
In the evening the journey started to head towards Manipal. The journey was made more interesting with various activities and games to keep the enthusiasm going.
