A number of days in Prayana and the learning earned could be compared with an exponential group. Prayanees had lots knowledge in the previous 8 days and today is the 9th day of Prayana where both the routes met each other at Agastya Foundation in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh. So there was lots of excitement in Prayanees to meet this new troop.

Agastya Foundation is a place which works with the motto of finding a problem and then reasoning out a solution. Prayanees had a session with Mr. Nithin Kumar who enriched them to experience the unexpected. At 11 4Prayanees were divided into four teams, A, B, C and D. Each team Prayana is not only about learning new things but also about adventures and enjoyment. Prayanees enjoyed an adventures trek in forest and hill areas for 5kms early in the morning at 6. And their day started with an adventures trek. After the trek, they had their breakfast and they moved to Agastya Foundation was guided by a mentor from Agastya Foundation. Then Prayanees with their respective team and mentors went for a campus tour of Agastya Foundation. They visited Innovation Hub where students of foundation and nearby village students implement their ideas and complete their projects. Prayanees saw many project models of students. They were told about some projects. Then they continued their campus visit with by going to an art gallery. Where they saw amazing things made up of basic material like mud, stones. There were many creative projects and things in the art gallery. And they continued with Design lab where they saw the CNC and Laser Machines. Later they visited the Design lab Prayanees where they had their lunch.

They visited Innovation Hub where students of foundation and nearby village students implement their ideas and complete their projects. Prayanees saw many project models of students. Later they visited the Design lab Prayanees where they had their lunch.

After the lunch Prayanees moved to the Hands on learning where they visited CT, Creativity workshop. Then Prayanees were assigned to the projects which were based on scientific principles. They performed activities based on inlet and outlet principles and based on Bernoulli’s principle, where they learned about the basic principle and for what purpose they are used and how to use the models or these scientific principles. Then Prayanees continued with the discovery workshop where they performed activities by playing with some basic materials and they found out the scientific reasons behind those activities.

After the visits to the places, they continued with Navy hub where they saw the instruments which are used in Navy. Prayanees have introduced the details of Navy Hub and instruments. Then Prayanees visited the Planetarium5 where they learned about the solar system. They saw demonstration models of solar systems. A dark room and the roof was decorated as the sky in the planetarium. Prayanees also watched the short movie on the formation of planets, basic ideas of solar system, asteroids. The planetarium of Agastya Foundation was inaugurated by our beloved prime minister late Mr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam.

They visited villages where they performed skits for a social cause like sanitation, educational problems and how the parent’s decision can affect children’s future. One team of girls went to door to door to create awareness about health and sanitation.

After dinner, Agastya foundation hosted a cultural program for Prayanees. Prayanees also performed in the cultural eve. Like this way Prayanees spent their day with filled with adventure, meeting their friends. And their day ended with a cultural program. And they slept to see the sun to rise with new activities, and a day full of knowledge.
