LEAD PRAYANA 2017- DAY 7
We at LEAD never miss an opportunity to begin the day by filling the minds with serenity and positivity. The day begins with the yoga session by Dr jasmine. This was followed by jiving which dragged out the sloth from prayanees. Everybody tapped their feet, raised their hands in air and nodded while they jived for the LEAD anthem.
The troop reached its next destination , Doddaballapur. They had a session with Mr.Narayan Reddy, a renowned organic farmer. He revolutionized the farming methodologies and this was possible only because he cultivated his thoughts in a direction that could bring the best in him. He assigned a task of seed separation. All the prayanees excitedly set on their task, got their hands dirty and completed the task joyously.
Later they were taken to Mavanhalli village to interact with the people and explain to them about Cashless transactions. They also spoke about effects of demonetization, collected reviews on problems faced and also suggested solutions to them.
The prayanees visited the Nirmaan Organisation which is a renowned NGO set up by alumnus of BITS PILANI. They say this organization derives its inspiration from former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. The Nirmaan Organization provides free computer education. Our team of prayanees were divided into three groups and were sent to remote and rural areas to promote computer education at Nirmaan.
The next visit was to the Care hospitals. Here the prayannes interacted with Dr Krishna Reddy who explained the motive behind constructing the hospital . He also spoke the equivalence in medicinal terminologies and humanitarian values. The prayanees were made to realize how a thought process can reflect on your health.
The prayanees also got an opportunity to visit the Amazon Development Centre India Pvt. Ltd , Mindspace, Hyderabad. One of our best LEADer winner Satyaphanindar saibewar helped us to connect with Amazon. The prayanees visited the customer care services and were impressed while they toured the different sectors and witnessed the facilities of the customer care unit.
