LEAD PRAYANA 2017- DAY 5
Day 4 was an extravagant affair. The journey of a lifetime had bigger surprises for the Prayanees on Day 5. Here is the glimpse of Day 5 of LEAD PRAYANA 2017.
India has emerged as one of the most important IT Hub of the world & Karnataka has played an exceedingly brilliant role. The 5th day of Prayana brought the LEADers to the Infosys Mysore Campus.The prayanees explored the beautiful campus of Infosys and had a great time.
After the campus tour, the prayanees had a surprise waiting for them. A session by Mr. Sundar KS, Associate Vice-President & Head, IMS Academy at Infosys was arranged for the guests of the day. He briefed them about the building of phase of Infosys, the story of 7 people chasing their dreams and establishing an enterprise which later changed the course of Indian IT industry to whole new level. He also spoke about the importance of Nationalism and what the Prayanees, as youth can offer to the country.Then, the prayanees asked their questions about career and Mr. Sundar answered them with poise.Coming out of the session, the prayanees were thrilled, positive and there were some patriotic sparks all over.
After the Infosys chapter then came the other side of the coin. Prayanees, now moved towards, The Home Sugars, Mandya. The travelers visited the Organic Mandya, founded by Mr. Madhu Chandan SC and had a lively session with him.The story of Mr.Madhu, who was once a techie, opted to go back to the soil and exploring organic farming is truly inspiring.
The journey then took to the divine premises of Chamundi hills, where the prayanees visited the Chamundi temple.
Hence the day ended with the feels of patriotism, inspiration and divine touch for the prayanees on route 1.
The prayanees had a surprise awaiting them. Mr. Ajay Suman Shukla, Team Leader, LEAD, joined the LEADers on their journey towards a new destination. Mr.Ajay brought a rush of energy into the travelers, which left them electric for the entire day. He engaged the prayanees with various team-building activities and games.One of the most interesting moments was the game of chains, where the players had to untangle themselves from each other. It was a light moment and everyone enjoyed to the core.
Mr.Ajay also had a session, where he briefed the prayanees about the spirit of LEAD Prayana. The best way to experience the prayana was the highlight of the talk and this left the prayanees more hungry for thrilling experiences of the journey.The next destination was the ‘T-HUB’!
T-HUB, Hyderabad, an ‘Accelerator’ is India’s largest co-working space provider. With around 760+ seats and 25+ startups, the center excels the vision of ‘Standup India, Startup India’, proud fact being, 30-40 co-founders of the startups are women.
T-HUB, Hyderabad, stresses on 7 fields and look forward to being the leading startup city/center in the world.
The prayanees then visited the IIIT, Hyderabad, where they had a session by Mr. Pradeep Kumar, who stressed on human values and relationships.It was a great session and was worth the time.
A visit to Indian School of Business was the next on the cards.One of the most reputed business schools of India, which is globally acclaimed, was an interesting place to explore. A session by the alumni of the prestigious institute was the highlight of the visit.
One of the alumni is a part of the Naval force and another working in the same institute, had great experiences to offer, to the curious minds.Indian School of Business (ISB), the Indian B-School which is on race with international B-schools. Aluminus of ISB Mr.Shyam(ex Naval officer) & Mr.Rupesh(2009 batch) spoke about the significance of studying at ISB. Also guided about the PG opportunities for UG students.
The have the first employee of LEAD program Ms.Annie who joined the Prayanees at T-Hub Hyderabad. She shared her experience with the participants and recalled the memories associated with LEAD & also gave some useful tips to grow up in the journey of life.The session was followed by an activity ‘Design your Product’ at same place.
The day ended at the Saraswati Vidhyapeetham, where the LEADers reflected their experiences. One has to wait and see what the new day to offer to the curious minds.
