Cleanliness we follow, defines our responsive nature. As said cleanliness is next to godliness, provokes a devotion to always stay clean and healthy. Cleanliness is a clean habit which is very necessary to all of us. Cleanliness is a habit of keeping ourselves physically and mentally clean including with our home, pet animals, surroundings, environment, the place we work at, schools, etc. Due to heavy population and illiteracy as well as the preoccupied mindset of dirty living is one of the greatest problem for make India hygienic.
LEADer Shrilesh Kurane, from Belagavi has taken an initiative towards something most important work. Interested to work for social development cause and to try to achieve solutions for social problems joined LEAD through orientation program at Government ITI College, Belagavi.
A unique thought of solving a major problem of cleanliness was implemented by him. As in case of government schools and colleges or public places, it’s not seen the cleanliness. The high cost for dustbins is one of the problems and so providing dustbins to such places was the initiative taken by LEADer Shrilesh. He has made the dustbins and distributed them for just Rs.20. Isn’t it interesting and innovative?
This is to be an ongoing process and needs contribution from every individual. Some difficulties faced by him was in the convincing people to use dustbins and the cleaning of those metal jars used to make dustbins. Travelling was one more hurdle for him. It’s a great reward work for him to overcome all the challenges and make this project a successful one.
His next aim is to provide around 500 dustbins and create a contribution to developing country. He could learn communication skills and specially the convincing the people. This is a great work in making a beautiful world. Awareness doesn’t create any impact but solving does, hats off to LEADer Shrilesh and his team to create such an amazing impact.
